CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

A)  CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING inside of fourteen (14) days are non-refundable & do not qualify for rescheduling. Clients are welcome to transfer bookings to a replacement (private lessons, court rentals); though if your booking requires a certain level of play or age requirement (tournament registration, social, adult class, junior class), your replacement will need to be within the required skill/ age level of that class.

Bookings that were made in error can be cancelled within 30 min with 100% credit.  Beyond 30 min, no credit is issued unless done so outside fourteen (14) days.

Cancellations outside fourteen (14) days will be compensated with a BreakPoint Gift Card. No cash or CC refunds are given at any time. Gift cards are issued at the purchase price value only & clients are welcome to purchase anything (court rental, private lesson, challenger etc) with this credit amount.  BreakPoint does not accommodate rescheduling requests outside of this process of issuing credit. 

The (14) day period is calculated using the start time of your lesson (ie. if your booking is on Tues July 15th at 6pm; then you must make your cancellation request by July 1st at 6pm).  

All cancellations must be made in writing to info@breakpointclub.org and will be responded within 3-5 business days 

B)  WEATHER conditions (such as rain, snow, extreme temperatures, air quality, etc) will not cause cancellation.   BreakPoint will proceed with all bookings; regardless of the weather. BreakPoint does not cancel or reschedule bookings due to foul weather. 

Court rental permits are non-refundable by our landlord; therefor, BreakPoint must proceed with all bookings. Coaches will be there regardless of weather. Training may be modified to ensure safety (ie. students may work on serves or stationary volleys instead of groundstrokes) & safety protocols are followed should electrical storms be encountered (seek shelter & return when safe to do so). 

The choice is ultimately in the hands of the participant to attend or not; though no refunds or credits will be offered due to foul weather. 

Please be advised that BreakPoint will not tolerate abusive behaviour during foul weather or when inquiring about a foul weather forecast.  Court permit rentals are non-refundable by our landlord & despite best efforts to be refunded/ credited during foul weather - this remains the policy.  Court rental permits is by far our largest expense as a club - so the booking will persist despite foul weather. 

It is our intent to remain a happy and joyful sports club - so it is important to keep a positive attitude if you decide to attend or not.

C)  COACHING changes occasional occur.  From time to time, we are required to replace the assigned coach with a substitute coach.  BreakPoint does not cancel bookings requiring a substitute coach & will find a replacement coach to lead your class or lesson. A coaching change is not grounds for a credit or cancellation.

D)  VENUE ACCESS CLOSURES DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES such as facility labour disputes, government mandates, or other factors beyond BreakPoint's control - may interrupt or prevent the ability to deliver services. In such cases, BreakPoint is committed to ensuring affected participants receive the full value by rescheduling to a different date/location or are provided 100% refund. 

E)  MEDIA & PROMOTIONS
BreakPoint regularly captures photos and videos during lessons, classes, tournaments, and events for social media and marketing purposes. By registering for any BreakPoint program or event, students/ players (and parents/guardians, if applicable) acknowledge and agree that photos or videos taken during their participation may be used by BreakPoint for promotional purposes across various platforms.

BreakPoint is not able to accommodate individual requests to be excluded from photos or videos. Students/ players who are uncomfortable with this practice are encouraged not to register. BreakPoint will always strive to ensure images and videos are respectful and reflect the positive spirit of the club.

The appearance of your image or video on BreakPoint’s social media or marketing platforms is not grounds for cancellation, refund, or credit.
